What Is Jobber?
Jobber is field service software. It takes the paperwork side of a home service business and puts it in one place: quotes out, jobs on the schedule, crews dispatched, invoices sent, payments collected. One system doing the work of a calendar, a notebook and a spreadsheet.
What it actually does
A customer calls. You send the quote from your phone, they approve it in Client Hub, and the job lands on the schedule where the crew picks it up in the app. Work gets done. You invoice from that same job and the customer pays by card. That is the loop Jobber closes.
Mostly lawn care, cleaning, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting and landscaping businesses. Typically between one and fifteen people.
Sort of, and not really
Jobber holds your client list, their properties, their history and their invoices. For a service business, that is the job a CRM does. What it does not do is pipeline management, lead scoring or marketing automation the way HubSpot or Pipedrive would. If you are chasing deals, it is not that kind of tool.
The honest gaps
No inventory management. Reporting is thin, and job costing in particular is the most common complaint in reviews. It is not accounting software, so most businesses run QuickBooks alongside it. And it does not systematically ask your customers for reviews, which for a home service business is the thing that brings the next customer.
The one thing it leaves to you
Jobber closes the job. It does not chase the Google review afterwards, and that review is what decides whether the next person calls you or the company sitting above you in the map pack. Trophy Jar connects to Jobber and asks, every time. 100 texts a month are included on the $9 plan and 1,000 on the $19 plan, sent from your own local number. For US businesses we handle the 10DLC brand and campaign registration.
