Automatically collect customer reviews when invoices are paid using Trophy Jar. No manual follow-up. No missed moments.
What this integration does
Every paid invoice in Xero is a customer who just had a positive experience with your business. Most of the time, nothing happens with that. The invoice gets marked as paid, everyone moves on, and the review never gets requested.
This integration changes that. When an invoice hits a status you configure (paid, authorized, whatever makes sense for your workflow), Trophy Jar automatically sends a review request to that customer. The right ask, at the right moment, without anyone on your team doing anything.
Who it’s for
Any business billing through Xero that wants a steady stream of reviews without building a manual follow-up process. To freelancers, agencies, SaaS companies, service businesses, if Xero is where your invoices live, this is where your review automation starts.
How it works
Connect your Xero account to Trophy Jar through a straightforward API setup. Learn more about how it works here.
Why timing matters here
A customer who just paid an invoice is in a completely different headspace than one you follow up with two weeks later. The experience is fresh. The relationship feels positive. That’s when review requests get responses.
Trigger-based automation means you’re always asking at the right moment, and not whenever someone on your team remembers to send a batch email.
What you need to get started
A Xero account and a Trophy Jar account. Setup takes around ten minutes where you’ll create a Xero developer app, connect your credentials, configure a webhook, and set your trigger status. Step-by-step instructions are in the Trophy Jar integrations page once you’re logged in.
What happens to your data if you disconnect
Removing the integration stops Trophy Jar from receiving new Xero events. Any reviews already collected stay in Trophy Jar. Nothing gets deleted. It just stops adding new ones from Xero activity going forward.
