Trophy Jar

Signpost Reviews: The Contract and Cancellation Complaints, Explained

Signpost is a real local-service reputation and review-automation platform, priced around $99 a month, rated 4.0 stars on Trustpilot (108 reviews) and just over 4 stars on Capterra and G2.

The complaint pattern here is unusually consistent across independent sources. A Trustpilot reviewer described the contract terms as harsh and said reviews collected through the service weren’t actually reaching Yelp, only Signpost’s own internal review page. Separately, a third-party evaluation (Gralio.ai) noted users dislike the difficult cancellation process and a lack of pricing transparency, the same two themes, from two unconnected sources.

Reviews go where you choose, and you can leave anytime

Trophy Jar sends reviews to the actual platform a business picks, Google, its own site, or anywhere else, never to a walled-off internal page, and there is no long-term contract to get locked into in the first place.

Every Trophy Jar plan, including the lowest one at $9 a month for the first two months (then $29), includes sending review requests by text or email, the customer’s choice. Local numbers are available in both the US and Canada, with numbers for almost any other country available to purchase too. For US numbers, Trophy Jar handles 10DLC brand and campaign registration end to end, so there is no paperwork for the business to file.
